MUSICAL WEEKS AT THE OLYMPIC THEATRE IN VICENZA

Musical weeks at the Olympic Theater: the seasons in the world on their way from Venice to Buenos Aires. They return to the Musical Weeks at the Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, a jewel of Andrea Palladio, 2019 edition. The protagonists will be Vivaldi’s Four Seasons and the “Cuatro Estagiones Portenas” by Piazzolla, the latter in the version for violin and orchestra written for Sonig Tchakerian by M ° Luis Bacalov. A concert is an excellent opportunity to get to know our beautiful city and the Relais Santa Corona is the ideal accommodation, located in the historic center, just a few minutes walk from the theater.

CONCERT AT PALAZZO LEONI MONTANARI IN VICENZA, 15th April 2018.

A classical music concert will be held this Sunday, April 15, 2018 in the Galleries of Palazzo Leoni Montanari, bordering with our hotel Relais Santa Corona, at 12.00 until 13.30.

The theme will be that of Italian style in the Baroque. The students of the Vicenza Pedrollo Conservatory will accompany the visit to the Galleries with the use of ancient instruments in an ancient context: violas, harpsichords, flutes, cornets, violins and voices.

Admission is free and the event is a special occasion to enjoy the wonders of the building.

PALAZZO LEONE MONTANARI : a baroque residence in Vicenza which is now the location of a bank: in 1678 Giovanni Leoni Montanari decided to built a large building as his residence which doubles as a silk production laboratory. The Leoni Montanari family were rich fabric (tessuto) merchants at the time. They constantly trying to elevate their status to nobility. The building wanted to show to the city the role they wanted to reach. They chose the baroque style to surprise the local nobles who were more traditional. Inside the interior decoration has mythological subjects and the museum hosts a permanent collection of Russian Icons and some venetian paintings from the 1700s.

NOTTURNI PALLADIANI, i fiati dell’Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico

The event “Notturni Palladiani” will return and will perform of the Winds of the Olympic Theater Orchestra on Thursday 20 July 2017 at 9 pm. The direction is entrusted to the master Davide Sanson, it will be performed songs by Mozart, Beethoven, Donizetti, Rossini and Strauss. The location will be the courtyard of the Palladium Museum at Palazzo Barbaran da Porto, realized by Andrea Palladio in Vicenza between 1570 and 1575 : this is the only example of a project he finished in full. Tickets can be booked by calling the number 0039 0444326598 or by going to the ticket office located in Vicolo Cieco Retrone. In case of bad weather the concerts will be held at the nearby Church of San Gaetano. The cost of the ticket is 7 euros per person. Palazzo Barbaran da Porto as all the city museums can be reached from our Relais Santa Corona in a couple of minutes by foot: choose the comfort of a hotel located in the center of Vicenza!

Tornano i Notturni Palladiani, si esibiranno i fiati dell’Orchestra del Teatro Olimpico giovedì 20 luglio 2017 alle ore 21.00. La direzione è affidata al maestro Davide Sanson, verranno eseguiti brani di Mozart, Beethoven, Donizetti, Rossini e Strauss. Settimane Musicali al Teatro Olimpico, concerto A PARIGI CON CHAUSSON E DEBUSSY

In occasione del Festival delle Settimane Musicali sabato 17 giugno al Teatro Olimpico si terrà l’ultimo concerto “A Parigi con Chausson e Debussy”.

Nella prima parte del concerto suoneranno un quartetto di archi in sol minore, seguirà una sonata di violino e pianoforte, per concludersi con un concerto in re maggiore per pianoforte violino e quartetto.

I biglietti per gli ospiti del nostro Relais sono scontati alla tariffa di 20 euro l’uno, sarà inoltre possibile dopo il concerto mangiare nell’Odeo del Teatro alla tariffa di 25 euro a persona.

Musical Week at the Olympic Theater, concert IN PARIS WITH CHAUSSON AND DEBUSSY

On the occasion of the Festival of Musical Weekly on Saturday, June 17 at the Teatro Olimpico will be held the last concert “In Paris with Chausson and Debussy”.

In the first part of the concert they will play a bass quartet in lower room, followed by a violin and piano sonata, to conclude with a major concert for violin and quartet piano.

For the guests of our Relais the rate of the tickets will be 20 euro, and after the concert it will be possible to eat in the Theater Odeo at a rate of 25 euros per person.
