“Le ambre della principessa” a Palazzo Leoni Montanari a Vicenza

“Le ambre della principessa” è il nome scelto per la mostra temporanea in essere a Palazzo Leoni Montanari a Vicenza fino a gennaio 2018.

Il percorso espositivo è stato studiato per valorizzare i reperti dell’antica Puglia rinvenuti nel 1800, quando si sviluppo nella nobiltà l’interesse per i manufatti di epoca greca e romana. I reperti che oggi sono visibili alle Gallerie di Palazzo Leoni Montanari appartengono alla Collezione Caputi, costituita da ceramiche attiche e magnogreche ritrovate a Ruvo di Puglia in provincia di Bari.

I visitatori potranno inoltre guardare le videoproiezioni che raccontano il cantiere della Ruvo archeologica dove fa attiva anche la grande appassionata di arte e storia Carolina Bonaparte Murat, regina al tempo di Napoli ( https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carolina_Bonaparte )

Un percorso olfattivo guiderà i visitatori attraverso le sale rievocando ambientazioni e sensazioni.

Il museo è aperto al pubblico tutti i giorni tranne il lunedì dalle 9.00 alle 18.00 ed è collocato a fianco del nostro Relais Santa Corona.

“Princess Amber” is the name chosen for the temporary exhibition in Palazzo Leoni Montanari in Vicenza until January 2018.

The exhibition trail was designed to enhance the finds of ancient Puglia discovered in 1800, when nobility arises in the interest of Greek and Roman artifacts. The findings that are now visible to the Galleries of Palazzo Leoni Montanari belong to the Caputi Collection, made up of penthouse and magnifique ceramics found in Ruvo di Puglia in the province of Bari.

Visitors will also be able to watch the video projections telling the archeological site of Ruvo, where also the great art and history enthusiast Carolina Bonaparte Murat, Queen of Naples (https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carolina_Bonaparte)

An olfactory route will guide visitors across the halls, reminiscent of ambience and sensations.

The museum is open to the public every day except Monday from 9am to 6pm and is placed next to our Relais Santa Corona.

VICENZA LIGHT 2016 CHRISTMAS IN VICENZA

Vicenza Light 2016 has provided the lighting of the Christmas lights and Christmas tree on Saturday November 26 in the presence of the mayor Variati Achille.

Many are the events scheduled for Christmas, such as exhibitions, concerts and themed markets.

The energy-efficient lights have been installed in the streets of the old town and especially in the Piazza dei Signori, the heart of the city where as usual a cascade of light descends from Bissara Tower. The lights have also been installed in front of our Relais Santa Corona in Contra Santa Corona as well as in major city squares: Blade Square, Piazza Castello and Piazza Matteotti. In the latter, and in Piazza dei Signori we were set up two large artificial trees octagonal aged 12 and 14 meters, in the city street lights installed circular and star. Special openings of the Palladian Basilica are scheduled from Thursday 8 to Sunday, December 11 from 10.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 20.00, as well as in the days 17-18-23-24 and from 6 to 8 January 2017.

GO.GO.GO by Alexandr Sokurov at the Olympic Theatre until October 2, 2016

Go.go.go by the Russian director Sokurov at the Teatro Olimpico until October 2, 2016.

Podorvika Sokurov was born in 1951, graduated in 1971 at the University of Gorky in History and Philosophy and later at the Moscow Film School VGIK. During this period he became a friend of Andrei Tarkovsky, the famous Soviet film director and screenwriter, who defends against the authorities who think its too revolutionary work and not in line with the regime.

The director tries his hand for the first time with a play loosely based on Marbles of another great Russian artist, Joseph Brodsky, winner playwright Nobel Prize for Literature in 1987, one of the greatest Russian poets of our time.

The show has a visual system, and includes the participation of fifty people that turn the stage into a bustling square. There are many film references, from Fellini to Magnani going to build a dream system and visionary typical aesthetics and Russian avant-garde.

until May the exhibition “Skin, the jewel’s surface” at the Jewellery Museum in Vicenza

Until 1 May 2016 the Jewel Museum in Vicenza will host the exhibition “Skin , the surface of the jewel . ”

The jewel will be read and interpreted through the works of various artists , craftsmen and designers who have reflected on the theme of the skin as a trial , contact, dualism , grafting. The Museum of Jewellery can be reached from the Relais Santa Corona in a few minutes walk and is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00. The ticket price is 6.00 euro .
