103° Concert Season

The Società del Quartetto will open the new season with the Milano Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Zhang Xian on Brahms musics. The concert will be at the Vicenza Council Theatre, reached on foot in ten minuts from the Relais Santa Corona.

Italy and the Italians in photografy

The exhibition, that develops inside the wonderful frame of Palazzo Leoni Montanari, wants to set on photografic film the meeting places of the Italian People. Squares, small villages, streets become protagonists expense of relashionships and habits.

65° cicly of classic plays at the Olympic Theatre

“Hoc hopus hic labor est”        Virgilio, Eneide

The epigraph of the central panel of the Olympic Thatre proscenium has inspired the new atistic director, the lithuanian master Eimuntas Nekrosius, in the choice of the program theme that will be inaugurated the 21th of September 2012 with the  Dante Alighieri work, the “Paradise”. The performances continue through the 27th of October with the Albert Camus “Caligula”.

The Palladio’s Basilica reopens in style with an important exibition curated by Marco Goldin: “From Raffaello to Picasso-The great history of the figure portrait”.

Divided into six thematic sections, one hundred works in total, counts among the most famous painters: from Raffaello to Tiziano, from Caravaggio to Rembrandt, from Velàzquez to El Greco, from Manet to Renoir, from Van Gogh to Gauguin, from Matisse to Picasso.
